New details have surfaced about the domestic incident resulting in the June 1 arrest of Adrian Wilson, former NFL star and executive. Scottsdale Police Department documents obtained by TMZ reveal Wilson allegedly threatened suicide after breaking objects in his home during a heated argument with his wife. The argument ensued after Wilson discovered his wife’s legal separation paperwork, leading to a confrontation where he allegedly destroyed property and made violent threats.
Wilson’s wife, Alicia, claimed that after discovering he had been unfaithful, the altercation escalated. Wilson allegedly choked her, used derogatory terms, and took a handgun from a safe. Despite their children being present, Wilson reportedly said, “F–k those kids.” Alicia fled while Wilson made calls stating his intention to kill himself, leading to his arrest upon his return home.
Wilson later admitted to damaging objects and taking the firearm but denied any physical altercation with his wife. Charged with assault, property damage, and disorderly conduct, Wilson’s next court appearance is on July 16. Wilson, who played 12 years in the NFL and held executive roles with the Cardinals and Panthers, recently departed from his position with the Panthers.
