Steph Curry Sets the Court Ablaze with 12 Threes in Epic 56-Point Showdown!

Steph Curry absolutely COOKS with a dozen 3-pointers in 56-point game

Steph Curry absolutely COOKS with a dozen 3-pointers in a stunning 56-point game on Thursday night. The Golden State Warriors star propelled his team to a thrilling 121-115 victory over the Orlando Magic, overcoming a daunting 14-point halftime deficit.

With a slick step-back shot from the left-wing, he narrowed the gap to 73-72, then followed up with two crucial free throws to put the Warriors ahead. From that moment on, they would only give up the lead once, showcasing their resilience.

Prior to this explosive performance, Curry’s season-high stood at 38 points. His remarkable 56-point outing ties him with LeBron James for the second-most points scored by a player aged 36 or older, trailing only Kobe Bryant’s legendary 60-point farewell game against the Utah Jazz.

In a standout third quarter, Curry contributed 22 points, leading the Warriors to flip the script and turn their 14-point deficit into a five-point advantage. Meanwhile, the Magic managed just 21 points in that same period, struggling to keep pace.

Quinten Post made a notable impact off the bench, scoring 18 points and grabbing five rebounds, including a streak of 10 consecutive points for the Warriors during the second quarter. Draymond Green also made his presence felt with a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.

This victory marked the Warriors’ seventh win in their last eight games, a surge following the acquisition of Jimmy Butler in a trade on February 6. However, Butler struggled, finishing with just five points on 1-of-7 shooting, alongside seven assists in 32 minutes of play.

The Magic’s 18 turnovers, many of which were unforced, played a significant role in keeping the Warriors competitive during the first half, despite Orlando’s impressive 64% shooting. This loss marked the Magic’s 14th defeat in their last 20 games.

Paolo Banchero shone for the Magic, scoring 41 points, while teammate Franz Wagner added 27 points to the total.

Looking ahead, the Warriors are set to face the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, while the Magic will host the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
