The U.S. home leg of the CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinal will take place in St. Louis on November 18, marking a significant milestone as the Americans’ first competitive match under the guidance of coach Mauricio Pochettino.
This highly anticipated game, announced on Monday, will be hosted at CityPark, a venue that debuted during the 2023 Major League Soccer season. The initial match of the two-leg series is set for November 14 or 15, with the opponent to be confirmed following the group-stage matches scheduled for October.
The U.S. has triumphed in the first three iterations of this tournament, securing victories in 2021, 2023, and 2024, showcasing their dominance in the region.
Pochettino, who took over the coaching role after the departure of Gregg Berhalter, aims to steer the team toward further success following their recent Copa América exit. His inaugural matches will be friendly encounters against Panama on October 12 in Austin, Texas, and Mexico on October 15 in Guadalajara.
