Judge Dismisses Sexual Assault Lawsuit Against Dak Prescott
FRISCO, Texas — A judge in Collin County has dismissed a sexual assault lawsuit against Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Filed in January by attorneys Bethel and Yoel Zehaie, the suit stemmed from an alleged incident in 2017. The claims had already been under scrutiny, with Dallas police announcing in May that there was "insufficient evidence" for criminal charges.
The incident reportedly took place in the back of an SUV in a strip club parking lot. The woman involved had initially offered to withdraw her accusations in exchange for $100 million to compensate for her "mental anguish." Prescott countered with a suit of his own, denying all claims and suggesting possible extortion charges against the woman and her legal team.
Collin County Judge Angela Tucker’s dismissal of the suit marks a significant development in Prescott’s favor. A hearing is scheduled for September 13 to discuss potential sanctions against the woman and her attorneys, as Prescott’s attorney Levi McCathern emphasized the pursuit of justice and the quarterback’s ongoing vindication.
