Save $60 on Sunday Ticket During Back Together Weekend Event

Sunday Ticket Sue-cial Savings: YouTube TV’s $60 Discount Announced

YouTube TV is offering a $60 discount for NFL Sunday Ticket during the Back Together Weekend on July 27 and 28. This comes amid concerns about a potential $14 billion judgment against the NFL for allegedly fixing Sunday Ticket prices. Many, like me, canceled the service after noticing high prices despite claims in court that the average price paid from 2011 to 2022 was just over $100 annually.

The NFL’s practices to maintain high Sunday Ticket prices in favor of broadcast ratings for CBS and Fox were spotlighted during the trial. Some fans remain loyal despite this, whereas others, like me, refuse to pay the elevated fees. There’s speculation that fans might return if the service offers a significantly lower price or a single-team option similar to what ESPN proposed.

As YouTube TV introduces its limited-time discount, questions linger on how many fans will drop Sunday Ticket or wait for better deals. This promotional offer might be a strategic move while the NFL tries to navigate the aftermath of the recent verdict. If the appeal against the $14 billion judgment fails, even lower prices could be on the horizon.
