Jayson Tatum, A’ja Wilson, and Vince Carter Debut as Cover Stars for NBA 2K25

NBA 2K25 is launching on September 6, featuring Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson, and 2024 Basketball Hall of Famer Vince Carter as the cover athletes. Tatum appears on the standard edition, while Tatum and Wilson grace the All-Star edition. The GameStop exclusive WNBA edition showcases Wilson, and Carter adorns the Hall of Fame edition.

Tatum, a five-time NBA All-Star who recently led the Celtics to an NBA Championship, expressed his excitement about achieving a childhood dream by being featured on the cover. Wilson, a six-time WNBA All-Star and two-time MVP, highlights the growing popularity of the WNBA through her solo feature on the WNBA edition. The addition of WNBA athletes aims to capture the league’s style and confidence more accurately.

Carter’s inclusion marks a significant milestone as he enters the 2024 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. An eight-time All-Star and Slam Dunk contest winner, Carter sees the cover as a special honor at this stage of his storied career. Each cover athlete brings a unique achievement and recognition to NBA 2K25, making it a highly anticipated release among basketball fans.
