The 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup final is set to take place at Houston’s NRG Stadium on July 6, promising an exciting showdown for soccer fans.
On Wednesday, CONCACAF confirmed the venue for this highly anticipated match. The tournament, which kicks off on June 14, will feature 14 locations across 11 cities, strategically avoiding the Eastern Seaboard to sidestep conflicts with FIFA’s expanded 32-team Club World Cup.
In previous editions of the Gold Cup, the U.S. opted to field second-string rosters in 2021 and 2023, allowing many of their Europe-based stars a well-deserved break after their club commitments.
Historically, Mexico leads the charge with nine Gold Cup victories, including their triumph in 2023. The U.S. has claimed the title seven times, most recently in 2021, while Canada celebrated their win in 2000.
