The Chiefs acquire three-time All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins from the Titans, according to a source who requested anonymity as the teams have not yet made an official announcement regarding the trade.
In this deal, Kansas City will send a conditional fifth-round draft pick to Tennessee, as reported by NFL Network.
At 32 years old, Hopkins brings a wealth of experience to the Chiefs, serving as a vital asset for quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He is expected to help fill the gap left by the injured Rashee Rice. Previously, Hopkins spent two seasons with the Titans after an impressive seven-year tenure with the Arizona Cardinals and three seasons with the Houston Texans.
This season, Hopkins has recorded 15 receptions for 173 yards and one touchdown, showcasing his ability to contribute effectively on the field.
