Antonio Conte Confirms “Exceptional” Man United Target Victor Osimhen to Exit Napoli – Transfer News

Victor Osimhen’s Summer Transfer Progress

Antonio Conte, Napoli’s new manager, has indicated that Victor Osimhen is likely to be transferred this summer. Manchester United has been eyeing Osimhen since last year, with significant interest in the prolific striker. Last season, despite Napoli’s struggles, Osimhen managed to score 15 goals and provide three assists in Serie A.

Manchester United remains keen on Osimhen and might include Mason Greenwood in any potential deal. Conte has confirmed that while other key Napoli players won’t be sold, Osimhen’s situation is different due to existing agreements. Napoli’s willingness to part with Osimhen could pave the way for United’s pursuit of the Nigerian forward.

Journalist Aurelio Capaldi noted on Duncan Castles’ podcast that Osimhen is likely to leave Naples, with Romelu Lukaku being a potential replacement. However, United’s potential acquisition of Osimhen will depend on financial considerations as they aim to comply with PSR regulations.
