2025 MLB Predictions: Dodgers Set to Dominate While White Sox Face Tough Road Ahead!

2025 MLB odds: Dodgers, White Sox favored to have best, worst records

2025 MLB odds indicate that the Dodgers and White Sox are favored to have the best and worst records, respectively.

Each year, baseball enthusiasts can anticipate which teams are likely to dominate the league. This season, the Dodgers, Yankees, and Mets are among the frontrunners.

However, the spotlight also shines on the teams struggling to find their footing.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the odds reveal which team is projected to achieve the best and worst regular-season records as of February 26.

Best regular-season record 2025

Dodgers: -210 (bet $10 to win $14.76 total)
Braves: +700 (bet $10 to win $80 total)
Yankees: +1000 (bet $10 to win $110 total)
Phillies: +1200 (bet $10 to win $130 total)
Mets: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)

What to know: The Los Angeles Dodgers have consistently ranked among the top teams in baseball, holding the best record last season, the third-best in 2023, and dominating the charts in previous years. The Braves, however, are not to be overlooked; they showcased their resilience last season by winning 89 games without their star player, Ronald Acuña Jr., who suffered a significant injury early in the season. Acuña has expressed optimism about returning to the lineup, although his status for Opening Day remains uncertain.

Worst regular-season record 2025

White Sox: -220 (bet $10 to win $14.55 total)
Rockies: +240 (bet $10 to win $44 total)
Marlins: +490 (bet $10 to win $59 total)
Nationals: +2400 (bet $10 to win $250 total)
Athletics: +3100 (bet $10 to win $320 total)

What to know: The Chicago White Sox faced a dismal 2024 season, ending with a record of 41-121, the worst in the league by a significant margin. This marked a troubling trend, as the team has lost a staggering 222 games over the past two seasons. Their 21-game losing streak in 2024 tied for the second-longest in MLB history. Meanwhile, the Colorado Rockies have struggled as well, finishing with the second-worst record last season and maintaining a bottom-tier status for six consecutive years. Their performance raises questions about the future direction of the franchise.
