Tonight at 8:15 p.m., NFL betting begins for Week 13 with a clash between two AFC East juggernauts ready for the postseason. The Buffalo Bills are 8-3 and looking to keep up with the division-leading Miami Dolphins, while the New England Patriots are just outside of the AFC’s top playoff qualifiers in eighth place.
Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots
- Bill’s Point Spread: -3.5
- Bills Moneyline: -185
- Patriots Point Spread: +3.5
- Patriot’s money line: +160
- Over/Under: 43.5
The Bills survived a 28-25 shock against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day and scored a game-winning field goal in the closing seconds. Those who bet the Buffalo Bills and their -9.5 point spread weren’t happy with the NFL results from Thanksgiving, but their -3.5 lead over New England tonight looks a lot more appetizing.
A Buffalo win would put pressure on the Dolphins to win their game against the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday, but the Bills have one more game ahead of them against Miami in 2022-23.
A loss to New England would drop them to a 6-6 aggregate score and further fall out of the playoff hunt toward the home stretch of the season.

AFC East table
- Miami Dolphins 8-3
- Buffalo bills 8-3
- New York Jets 7-4
- New England Patriots 6-5
The New York Jets are also keeping pace with the division, despite suffering a heartbreaking 7-10 loss to the Patriots on Nov. 20.
Still, the Jets have notched wins against the Dolphins and Bills this season and are alive and well for the AFC East Championship and a wildcard playoff berth.
The Bills compete in New England in December and tonight without a division win in September, October or November. So far this season they are 2-0 in the AFC East with four division games remaining starting tonight.

However, according to current NFL futures odds, it’s a two-dog race for the AFC East with the Bills leading the way despite not winning a league game in 2022-23.
AFC East Winner
- Buffalo bills -200
- Miami Dolphins +230
- New York Jets +1100
- New England Patriots +2500
