GHOST joins the inaugural College Basketball Crown as its first founding partner, marking a significant milestone for both the tournament and the brand. This premier postseason college basketball event, launched by FOX Sports and AEG, is scheduled to run from March 31 to April 6, 2025, at the iconic MGM Grand Garden Arena and T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Fans can catch all the action live on FOX and FS1.

The tournament will showcase 16 teams hailing from well-known conferences, including the Big Ten, Big 12, and Big East, alongside other at-large selections, promising a thrilling competition for college basketball enthusiasts.

As the Official Hydration Partner, GHOST will supply GHOST HYDRATION exclusively to players and staff throughout the tournament. This partnership is designed to support athletes during critical moments, with GHOST’s distinctive branding prominently displayed on team bench seat covers and water coolers. This strategic visibility will facilitate direct interaction with student-athletes, enhancing brand recognition.

Dan Lourenco, Co-Founder and CEO of GHOST, expressed enthusiasm about this collaboration. “We’re incredibly excited to be a founding partner of the College Basketball Crown,” he stated. “Bringing an entirely new and thrilling college basketball tournament to our home city of Las Vegas is a truly special opportunity. We look forward to contributing to the energy and hydration that fuels this tournament and the athletes involved.”

Nick Baker, COO of AEG Global Partnerships, acknowledged GHOST’s commitment to the tournament’s vision. “We are grateful to Dan and the entire GHOST team for their belief in the College Basketball Crown from the outset,” he remarked. “GHOST’s dedication to performance, combined with its innovative products, perfectly aligns with the excitement and high stakes of this premier event.”

To amplify its presence, GHOST will also gain national exposure through a commercial spot on FOX Sports channels during the tournament. This feature will showcase GHOST’s pivotal role in enhancing the experience for both fans and athletes at this landmark event.
