Clippers Secure Ivica Zubac with a Lucrative $58.6 Million Contract Extension!

Clippers, Ivica Zubac agree to $58.6 million, 3-year contract extension

The Los Angeles Clippers and Ivica Zubac have finalized a three-year contract extension worth $58.6 million, ensuring the talented center remains with the team until the end of the 2027-28 season, as confirmed by his agent, Jeff Schwartz of Excel, on Saturday.

During the previous season, Zubac achieved a career-best average of 11.7 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. The 27-year-old showcased impressive shooting, hitting 65% of his attempts from the field throughout the regular season. In the playoffs, he elevated his game further, averaging 16.2 points in a six-game series against Dallas.

With one year and $11.7 million left on his previous contract, Zubac has solidified his position as the longest-tenured player on the Clippers roster. This extension comes at an exciting time for the franchise as they prepare to debut their new arena in Inglewood, marking a significant chapter in both Zubac’s career and the team’s future.
