USMNT star Christian Pulisic to be examined for calf injury with AC Milan

U.S. Men’s National Team star Christian Pulisic is set to undergo evaluation for a right calf injury sustained while playing for AC Milan.

Pulisic left the field during the first half of Milan’s 2-1 defeat against Atalanta on Friday. An MRI is scheduled for Monday to assess the severity of the injury.

It is anticipated that Pulisic will miss the upcoming Champions League match against Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday, along with potential Serie A fixtures against Genoa and Hellas Verona.

This season, Pulisic has emerged as a key player for Milan, contributing five goals and four assists in Serie A, alongside three goals in the Champions League.

The U.S. national team will not have an official match until March, when they face Panama in the CONCACAF Nations League semifinals.
