Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw vows to 'crush rehab,' return in 2025 after 2 surgeries

Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw is determined to “crush rehab” as he recovers from two recent surgeries. This commitment highlights his resilience and dedication to returning to peak form.

On Instagram, Kershaw shared that he underwent foot and knee procedures on Wednesday, expressing gratitude to Drs. Kenneth Jung and Neal ElAttrache for their expertise in performing the surgeries.

“Planning to crush some rehab and be as good as can be come next year,” Kershaw stated in a Thursday post, emphasizing his optimistic outlook for the future.

At 36 years old, Kershaw boasts an impressive career record of 212 wins and 94 losses, with a 2.50 ERA across 429 starts and three relief appearances over 17 seasons, all with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Although he declined a $10 million player option to explore free agency, many expect him to return to the Dodgers, especially after he expressed his desire to do so during and after their pursuit of the 2024 World Series title.

Kershaw faced challenges last season, struggling with injuries that limited him to a 2-2 record and a 4.50 ERA in just seven starts. His absence during the postseason underscored the impact of his health on the team’s performance.
