Titans QB Will Levis will miss the upcoming game against the Buffalo Bills due to a shoulder injury.
Reports indicate that the second-year quarterback is sidelined with an AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder, an injury he sustained on September 30. In his last appearance against the Indianapolis Colts, Levis struggled, managing only 95 passing yards.
In a related move, the Titans have placed wide receiver Treylon Burks on injured reserve and elevated quarterback Trevor Siemian from their practice squad.
Rudolph, who joined the Titans in the offseason, played a pivotal role in securing the team’s only victory this season, a 31-12 triumph over the Miami Dolphins in Week 4. He stepped in for Levis after the starter’s injury and completed 9 of 17 passes for 85 yards, helping the Titans score on seven of their eleven drives.
In a candid moment, Ridley expressed his frustrations to reporters, stating, “I need some in the beginning of the f***ing game too. S*** is getting f***ing crazy for me. It is what it is. I sucked today and need to get better.” He emphasized the importance of getting the ball earlier to contribute effectively to the team’s performance.
So far this season, Ridley has recorded nine receptions for 141 yards and one touchdown, indicating room for improvement as the season progresses.
Regarding Burks, head coach Brian Callahan had hinted at the possibility of placing him on injured reserve after the 18th overall pick in the 2022 draft injured his knee during practice. Callahan confirmed that Burks would be out for “some time no matter what.”
Burks, who was acquired in the trade that sent Pro Bowl receiver A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles, has recorded four catches for 34 yards this season. Over his career, he has tallied 53 receptions for 699 yards and one touchdown in 27 games.
To bolster their roster, the Titans have also signed defensive lineman Abdullah Anderson and promoted defensive back Gabe Jeudy-Lally from the practice squad for the upcoming matchup against the Bills.
