1. Vance Joseph’s Resurgence
The Denver Broncos’ defensive performance this season is a remarkable story that deserves more attention. Vance Joseph, a seasoned NFL coach with two decades of experience, returned to the Broncos as defensive coordinator after a challenging stint as head coach from 2017 to 2018. His previous tenure ended abruptly, but he accepted the chance to return in a different capacity under head coach Sean Payton. 2. Buffalo’s Big Gamble
The upcoming Bills-Jets matchup is charged with tension and implications for the AFC East. A loss could send shockwaves through Buffalo, especially after two disappointing performances. The Bills’ recent blowout defeat against the Ravens served as a wake-up call, while the loss to the Texans raised further questions about their play-calling and execution.
The concern for the Bills is their roster’s depth in playmakers. After leading the league in scoring early in the season, their offensive production has dipped.
