USC Stars Zachariah and Zion Branch Score Groundbreaking Jordan Brand NIL Deal!

USC's Zachariah, Zion Branch land college football's first Jordan Brand NIL deal

USC’s Zachariah and Zion Branch have made headlines as the first college football players to sign a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with Jordan Brand, as reported on Monday. This milestone marks a significant moment in college athletics, highlighting the growing influence of brand partnerships in the sport.

The Branch brothers will join an elite group of athletes, including Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel, and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, all of whom are associated with the iconic Jordan Brand.

“It’s a huge blessing,” Zachariah expressed during an interview. “To be selected for this opportunity is an incredible honor, especially since only a few athletes get to partner with Jordan Brand. We feel like we’re making history.”

He further emphasized, “Jordan represents excellence; he embodies greatness. We are truly excited and grateful for this chance.”

Despite Zion’s limited playing time last season due to an injury, Zachariah made a strong impact, finishing the 2023 season with 320 receiving yards, 31 receptions, and two touchdowns. He became USC’s first true freshman to earn first-team All-American honors as a returner, showcasing his talent on the field.

USC is set to kick off the 2024 college football season on September 1 against LSU, and the excitement surrounding the Branch brothers and their new partnership with Jordan Brand adds to the anticipation for the upcoming season.
