NFC East rivals Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants are making a trade.
Reports surfaced on Wednesday night confirming that defensive lineman Jordan Phillips is set to move from New York to Dallas.
In return, the Cowboys will exchange their sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft for the Giants’ seventh-round selection.
At 31 years old, Phillips recorded 15 tackles and 2.5 sacks last season while playing for the Buffalo Bills. He achieved a career-high of 9.5 sacks in 2019. Previously, he has played for the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins, who selected him in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma.
This trade highlights the ongoing rivalry between these two iconic franchises, showcasing how teams in the NFC East continuously seek strategic advantages. As the Cowboys and Giants prepare for the upcoming season, fans will be watching closely to see how this move impacts both teams.
This is a developing story.
