INEOS Boost Puts Man United Ahead of Real Madrid in Leny Yoro Pursuit

Man United Gains Edge Over Real Madrid in Race for Leny Yoro

Manchester United is reportedly making significant progress in securing Leny Yoro, edging ahead of Real Madrid. United recently had an offer of €50 million (£42 million) accepted by Lille. However, Yoro seems more interested in joining Real Madrid, which values him at only £17 million, well below Lille’s expectations.

Despite Yoro’s inclination towards Madrid, Lille is pushing him towards United, following a substantial wage negotiation. INEOS, part-owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is providing United a competitive edge through its extensive French football contacts, particularly from its involvement with OGC Nice. This advantage has accelerated talks with Yoro’s representatives, making a move to Old Trafford increasingly likely.

While United advances, Real Madrid is expected to present a new offer soon. Whether this fresh bid will meet Lille’s standards remains uncertain. Nevertheless, United’s proactive approach and strategic use of INEOS’s influence could tip the scales in their favor, setting the stage for a potentially decisive showdown.
