Broncos Secure Future with Four-Year Extension for Quinn Meinerz

Denver Broncos guard Quinn Meinerz, who has started 39 games since entering the NFL from Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2021, is set to sign a four-year, $80 million extension. According to a source quoted by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the deal offers $45 million guaranteed, extending Meinerz’s tenure with the team through the 2028 season.

In recent times, Meinerz faced challenges, including a health scare in December last year. During a game against the Los Angeles Chargers, he experienced chest tightness and an elevated heart rate, leading to an overnight hospital stay. This occurred as the Broncos wrapped up Sean Payton’s first season as their head coach.

Training camp for the Broncos kicks off on July 26, where Meinerz’s contract extension will likely boost morale. As a crucial player, his health and performance will be in focus as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
