Tennessee Football will introduce several firsts for their Smokey Grey uniform this season. This includes a Tennessee wordmark across the chest and a Tri-Star state emblem on the alternate, honoring The Volunteer State. The new Smokey Grey uniform, the third in a four-year series through at least 2025, follows last year’s homage to quarterback Condredge Holloway.
Exciting details highlight this latest iteration. The helmet, featuring the orange Power T and a Smoky Mountain design, now includes a stripe paying tribute to the Tennessee state flag. The grey jersey displays orange numbers outlined in white, with the Tennessee wordmark above the numbers and the Tri-Star emblem on the sleeves. For the first time, the Vols are incorporating both these elements into their gear.
The pants complete the look with a grey design featuring an orange state of Tennessee on the hip and a matching Tri-Star emblem. The pants stripe mirrors the helmet’s, echoing the state flag’s design with three white stars. Tennessee is also set to release Smokey Grey merchandise later this summer.
