USWNT Welcomes Japan, Colombia, and Australia for Exciting 10th Anniversary of SheBelieves Cup!

USWNT to host Japan, Colombia and Australia in 10th SheBelieves Cup

The U.S. women’s national team will host Japan, Colombia, and Australia in the highly anticipated 2025 SheBelieves Cup.

This marks the 10th annual edition of the tournament, set to take place in Houston, San Diego, and Glendale, Arizona, from February 23 to 26, as announced by U.S. Soccer on Wednesday.

All four teams, which recently competed in the Paris Olympics, will engage in three matches each, with one game held in each host city. The overall winner will be determined based on points accrued throughout the tournament.

Due to the Olympics, the previous SheBelieves Cup was shortened, with each team playing only two matches over two days.

U.S. coach Emma Hayes expressed the importance of this tournament, stating, “All four of these teams participated in the last World Cup and Olympics, and all are currently in the process of qualifying for the next World Cup. Competing against skilled teams in a format that mirrors group play at a world championship is invaluable for our development.”

The gold medal-winning United States will kick off the tournament against Colombia in Houston on February 20, followed by a match between Japan and Australia. The action then moves to Glendale on February 23, where Colombia will face Japan before the U.S. takes on Australia.

The final matches are scheduled for February 26 in San Diego, featuring Australia against Colombia, followed by the U.S. competing against Japan.

These matches will be the first for the United States on home soil in 2025, promising an exciting atmosphere for fans and players alike.
