USC quarterback Miller Moss is set to enter the transfer portal following a challenging 2024 season.
The 22-year-old signal-caller confirmed his decision on Monday, as the transfer portal opens on December 9.
“My time at USC has been incredibly rewarding,” Moss shared with ESPN. “It has shaped my life in profound ways during these formative years. I poured my heart and soul into that program.”
“However, I believe it’s time for me to seek new opportunities that will help me grow both as a player and an individual.”
After two seasons backing up Caleb Williams, Moss took over as the Trojans’ starting quarterback at the start of the 2024 season. He recorded solid statistics, completing 64.4% of his passes for 2,555 yards, along with 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
“I’m looking forward to exploring different systems and coaches,” Miller remarked about his upcoming transfer process. “It’s an exciting chance to discover where I fit best.”
Before stepping into the starting role, Moss accumulated 914 passing yards, nine touchdowns, and one interception during his three years as a backup. His standout moment came when he led USC to victory over Louisville in the Holiday Bowl last season, throwing for an impressive 372 yards and six touchdowns.
