An exciting Sunday list of Week 9 NFL action concludes with the Kansas City Chiefs 5-2 hosting the Tennessee Titans 5-2 in an AFC battle for the No. 2. Patrick Mahomes and the high-flying Chiefs are a whopping -12.5 favorites over Derrick Henry and the Titans, who may or may not have Ryan Tannehill (ankle) back under center. Considering the volatility surrounding this game from a standard betting perspective, we will construct a Same Game Parlay on BetMGM and discuss each player and team pillar that makes it up.
We’ve covered this game extensively and also created DraftKings and FanDuel lineups for it. But this column is all about the props we’ve hand-picked as our favourites, the most intriguing and potentially the most lucrative in the BetMGM books.
Everyone who bet on my one game parlay for Thursday night’s football game between the Eagles and the Texans had a very good start to the weekend. Despite the parlay, which consisted of a whopping six legs, we easily hit every single one of them and walked away with a cool $550 on a $50 bet.
Let’s build on that momentum and carry our success to the next primetime matchup. The Chiefs-Titans should be a must-watch on TV and another one game parlay win will make it even more enjoyable. Let’s get the money!

Chief’s Money Line (Game)
We always like to build a solid foundation for our same game parlays, and you can’t get much more solid than picking the No. 1 on offense to beat Malik Willis and/or Ryan Tannehill and an unlucky Titans passing offense. Sure, Tennessee has Derrick Henry, the two-time rushing champion and current NFL leader in yards per game. But other than him, Mike Vrabel doesn’t have much of anything in terms of a stable, consistent scoring threat. This is the easiest pick of the week.
WEEK 9 NFL SELECTION TIP: Pick Them & Survival Pools
Travis Kelce all time TD scorer
Kelce has become pretty much synonymous with clutch in primetime, and at this point it’s a surprise when the elite tight end doesn’t find reward in nationally televised matches. He remains Patrick Mahome’s No. 1 target in big situations and leads the NFL with seven TD catches. Just like the Chiefs beating the Titans, this parlay leg feels about as confident as you can get.
Patrick Mahomes OVER 249.5 yards
We obviously have to include Mahomes in our OGP — regardless of the matchup, the Chiefs always give him the green light to shoot at will. Offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy and coach Andy Reid trust the QB to make plays, and they’ve put a solid game plan in place week after week to set him up for success. Tennessee ranks in the top 10 for most surrendered passing yards, allowing an average of 254.7 air yards per game despite playing some dud passing offenses (Giants, Commanders, Texans, Colts twice). Mahomes and the Chiefs had an extra week to prepare thanks to their Week 8 farewell. So don’t be surprised if they beat this OVER by 100. Mahomes is 3-0 in primetime games this season, with nine TDs, one interception and averaging 258.7 passing yards. Another very doable leg of a solid OGP.
Derrick Henry OVER 74.5 rushing yards
We had to put King Henry in that parlay — he’s been absolutely sizzling lately, and he’s literally the only explosive weapon on this entire Tennessee offensive. Henry’s touches have increased over the past four weeks, culminating in a 33-touch, 228-yard, two-TD game against Houston this past weekend. Simply put, the man has put the franchise on his back, as he has done so many times in the past. Henry leads the NFL with 107.9 ground yards per game and has the second most yards per carry against stacked boxes this season. The Chiefs can only hope to contain him, and they’re probably going into the game accepting the fact that he’s going to get his yards. Kansas City was actually solid against the run — allowing for the third-least ground yards of the season — but this man isn’t human. Smash the OVER.
Chiefs scored OVER 3.5 total TDs
When you’re hot, you’re hot — and Kansas City was hotter than fish fat, as Mark Jones would say, this season. The Chiefs lead the NFL in points, they have three 40-plus games and five games with at least 27 points, and Mahomes has 20 TDs to just five interceptions. Meanwhile, the Titans have given up more than 300 passing yards in four of their seven games, and their young, inexperienced secondary can’t stop a nosebleed. This might be one of the more fickle props in this parlay, but I think four TDs is pretty safe in a statement game for the Powerhouse Chiefs.
Alternate Total: OVER 39.5 total points
Another easy game that serves as the icing on the cake of a very achievable Sunday night soccer game. We don’t expect the Titans to score many goals no matter who’s under center. But we think they can at least score a point or two at least in trash time. We’re already betting on four TDs from the Chiefs, which puts us in the high 20s barring any extra kick craziness. All we need is a TD and some field goals? Yes, we like our chances. And since we’re playing house money after our $550 one game parlay win on Thursday night, we’re betting $150 of our winnings on that evil Larry. Good luck and have fun!
