Texas QB Arch Manning inks 'extremely lucrative' NIL deal with Red Bull

Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning has officially signed an impressive name, image, and likeness (NIL) agreement with the renowned energy drink brand Red Bull. This deal marks a significant milestone for Manning, as it is his first multi-year endorsement arrangement, described by insiders as “extremely lucrative.” However, the exact financial terms of the contract remain undisclosed.

Following the recent signing of Ohio State standout Jeremiah Smith, Manning becomes the second college football athlete to partner with Red Bull. The company’s roster also includes other prominent NIL athletes, such as highly-rated BYU basketball recruit AJ Dybantsa and talented women’s basketball players like Hannah Hidalgo, MiLaysia Fulwiley, and Mikaylah Williams.

Expressing enthusiasm about the partnership, Manning stated, “I really like this partnership. Everyone at Red Bull has been super nice to me and my family, and I can’t wait to get it going. Plus, I enjoy a Red Bull in the morning to give me a little boost before our early meetings.”

At just 19 years old, Manning holds the title of the top athlete across all sports—both college and high school—in terms of NIL earnings, as reported by On3. This new deal, along with his 2023 agreement with Panini America and his appearance in the highly anticipated EA Sports College Football 25 video game, solidifies his position in the NIL landscape.

Having served as a backup to Quinn Ewers in the previous season, Manning completed 67.8% of his passes, totaling 939 yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions over ten games, with two starts. He also showcased his mobility, rushing for 108 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries.

With Ewers moving on to the NFL, Manning is poised to take over as the starting quarterback for the 2025 season. The Texas Longhorns, who reached the semifinals of the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff, are considered early contenders for the 2025 College Football Playoff title.

The Longhorns will kick off their 2025 regular season against the defending national champion Buckeyes on Saturday, August 30.

Manning comes from a football legacy, being the son of Cooper Manning and the nephew of Super Bowl champions Peyton and Eli Manning.
