Taylor Swift spends Black Friday watching Travis Kelce, Chiefs defeat Raiders

Taylor Swift spent Black Friday cheering on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as the Kansas City Chiefs triumphed over the Las Vegas Raiders with a close score of 19-17 during a chilly afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium. The pop icon’s presence added a touch of star power to the event, drawing attention from fans and media alike.

After enjoying a break over Thanksgiving, Swift is set to resume her busy schedule with The Eras Tour, which concludes with three performances in Vancouver starting December 6.

As she made her entrance into Arrowhead Stadium, Swift donned a stylish black outfit paired with a striking red jacket, creating a visual spectacle as camera flashes illuminated her path. Since starting her relationship with Kelce, her arrivals at Chiefs games have transformed into highly publicized events, reminiscent of a red-carpet affair.

During the game, quarterback Patrick Mahomes made history by becoming the all-time leader in passing touchdowns for the Chiefs, throwing a pivotal pass to Justin Watson in the end zone late in the first half. This marked Mahomes’ 238th touchdown pass, surpassing the legendary Len Dawson for the franchise record.

The critical touchdown, which put the Chiefs ahead 10-3, followed an impressive third-down conversion. Kelce, the reliable tight end, executed a clever play by flipping the ball to running back Samaje Perine while being tackled, allowing Perine to gain enough yardage for a new set of downs.

Kelce caught another pass shortly after but was brought down at the Las Vegas 8-yard line. He continues to chase his 77th career touchdown reception, which would set a new franchise record, surpassing Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez.

In an exciting addition to the weekend, Hallmark is set to premiere “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story” on Saturday. This film tells the tale of a new Chiefs employee who encounters a woman whose family has a long-standing devotion to the team. The script, penned by Sherman Wolfe, a fan of the 49ers, was inspired by the Chiefs’ victory over San Francisco in the Super Bowl.

“Holiday Touchdown” features cameos from various Chiefs players and includes a special appearance by Kelce’s mother, Donna. Fans at the game were treated to small pennants and pins in celebration of the film’s upcoming release.
