Barkley achieved the ninth-highest rushing yards in a single game in NFL history, highlighted by two remarkable touchdown runs of 70 and 72 yards in the second half. He burst through the Rams’ defense right from the start of the third quarter, sprinting for a 70-yard score, and capped off his night with another long run with just under three minutes remaining.
With a total of 302 yards, Barkley became the first player in NFL history to have two touchdown runs of 70 yards or more in a single game since Maurice Jones-Drew in 2009. His 255 rushing yards are the highest recorded since Jamaal Charles’ 259 yards in 2009, solidifying Barkley’s place in the record books.
Leading the league with 1,392 rushing yards, Barkley has also recorded an impressive seven 100-yard games in his impactful first season with the Eagles. Averaging 9.8 yards per carry, he shattered the previous Eagles franchise record of 217 rushing yards set by LeSean McCoy in 2013.
