Inaugural SBL Sports Betting Hall of Fame member Mattress Mack is at it again with another big money bet on a local team going all the way and winning a championship.
This time it’s the Houston Astros who win the World Series this fall and he has placed three separate bets on their championship futures odds at domestic sportsbooks in the state of Louisiana.
Details of Mattress Mack’s latest promotion
Typically, Mattress Mack runs a promotion at Gallery Furniture where, for any bed purchased within a certain period of time, the customer is refunded the original price if their big bet wins.
The kicker this time is that it’s a 2-for-1 promotion. So if you purchase a qualifying $3,000 or $5,000 mattress while the offer is still active, buyers will receive either $6,000 or $10,000 when the Astros become World Series 2022 champions.
How Mack’s Bet pays for the refunds
Mack is unable to legally bet on sports in Texas as regional legislatures have yet to regulate domestic sports betting, so he had to travel to Louisiana to do something about the Astros’ World Series win.

When it comes to the above World Series betting odds, winner takes all. Either the Astros win a title or Mack loses all three appearances.
If the Houston Astros win the 2022 World Series, Mattress Mack will earn $52.6 million, which he will use to pay back his clients and line his pockets with the extra money.

The current MLB odds are actually predicting a good run for the Astros into the 2022 playoffs as they currently have the second-best odds in the American League behind the New York Yankees.
