Dodgers Sensation Shohei Ohtani Undergoes Shoulder Surgery Following World Series Setback

Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani has shoulder surgery after World Series injury

Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani underwent arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday to address a labrum tear in his left shoulder, an injury sustained during Game 2 of the World Series on October 26. This procedure comes after a remarkable postseason performance that showcased Ohtani’s dual-threat capabilities.

The Los Angeles Dodgers organization has announced that the talented two-way player from Japan is anticipated to make a full recovery in time for spring training in February.

Ohtani’s injury occurred while he was attempting to steal second base, resulting in a dislocated shoulder. Remarkably, he continued to play, contributing to the Dodgers’ victory over the Yankees in five games to clinch the championship title.

The surgical procedure was performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles, a well-respected figure in sports medicine known for his expertise in treating high-profile athletes.
