College Football National Signing Day has concluded, marking the end of the 2025 recruiting cycle.

While National Signing Day took place on Wednesday, many college programs finalized their recruiting efforts during the early signing period, which occurred from December 4 to 6.

One of the most significant developments emerged from Ann Arbor, where four-star offensive tackle Ty Haywood, ranked No. 39 in the 2025 class, signed with the Michigan Wolverines under head coach Sherrone Moore. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound athlete had previously committed to Alabama but reopened his recruitment last month, ultimately choosing to join the Wolverines.

With the 2025 recruiting class finalized, a closer examination reveals which colleges have secured the most impressive talent, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

1. Texas (25 commitments)

Top-ranked player: S Jonah Williams

Williams, ranked No. 10 overall in the class by 247Sports, leads a remarkable group that includes five players within the top 30 nationally. Among the five-star recruits committed to the Longhorns are defensive lineman Justus Terry, wide receiver Kaliq Lockett, edge rusher Lance Jackson, and safety Kade Philips.

2. Georgia (28 commitments)

Top-ranked player: DL Elijah Griffin

Head coach Kirby Smart bolstered the defensive line with two of the top ten defensive linemen in the nation, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. Other five-star commitments include wide receiver Talyn Taylor, linebacker Zayden Walker, and tight end Elyiss Williams.

3. Alabama (21 commitments)

Top-ranked recruit: QB Keelon Russell

Russell is poised to become a standout player for Alabama. Other notable five-star recruits include offensive lineman Michael Carroll and cornerback Dijon Lee.

4. Ohio State (26 commitments)

Three-stars: 5

Top-ranked recruit: QB Tavien St. Clair

St. Clair ranks as the No. 3 quarterback prospect in the 2025 class, overall ranked No. 7. He is joined by cornerback Devin Sanchez and wide receiver Quincy Porter among the five-star recruits committed to the Buckeyes.

5. Oregon Ducks (20 commitments)

Top-ranked recruit: WR Dakorien Moore

Moore is recognized as the top wide receiver prospect in the country. The Ducks also secured commitments from cornerback Na’eem Offord and safety Trey McNutt, both five-star talents.

6. Michigan (24 commitments)

Top-ranked recruit: QB Bryce Underwood

Underwood stands out as the top prospect in the 2025 class. The Wolverines also welcomed commitments from offensive tackles Andrew Babalola and Ty Haywood, both ranked in the top 50.

7. Auburn (26 commitments)

Three-stars: 8

Top-ranked recruit: QB Deuce Knight

Knight is the only five-star recruit in Auburn’s class and ranks as the No. 5 quarterback nationwide. Additional commitments include edge rusher Jared Smith and defensive lineman Malik Autry.

8. Florida (26 commitments)

Three-stars: 10

Top-ranked recruit: WR Vernell Brown III

Florida’s class features two of the top ten wide receiver prospects for 2025, including Brown and Dallas Wilson. Safety Hylton Stubbs and cornerback Ben Hanks Jr. are additional top commitments for the Gators.

9. Texas A&M (25 commitments)

Five-stars: 1
Four-stars: 20
Three-stars: 4

Top-ranked recruit: OT Lamont Rogers

Rogers is ranked No. 26 overall in the 2025 class and is the seventh-best offensive tackle prospect. The Aggies also secured commitments from wide receiver Jerome Myles, tight end Kiotti Armstrong, and defensive lineman Chace Sims.

10. LSU (23 commitments)

Four-stars: 19
Three-stars: 2

Top-ranked recruit: CB DJ Pickett

Under head coach Brian Kelly, LSU secured two of the top 15 prospects in the 2025 class, including Pickett and running back Harlem Berry. Other key commitments include offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, offensive tackle Carius Curne, and linebacker Charles Ross.
