Can Aaron Judge Dominate the 2025 MLB Home Run Race Again?

2025 MLB home run leader odds: Will Aaron Judge lead the league again?

2025 MLB home run leader odds suggest Aaron Judge is a strong contender to lead the league once again.

In the past three seasons, Judge has topped the charts in home runs twice. The one year he fell short, he was sidelined for nearly 60 games due to injury, showcasing just how dominant he can be when healthy.

As of February 20, let’s explore the odds at DraftKings Sportsbook for who might lead Major League Baseball in home runs in 2025.

Most regular-season home runs

Aaron Judge: +400 (bet $10 to win $50 total)
Shohei Ohtani: +650 (bet $10 to win $75 total)
Kyle Schwarber: +1000 (bet $10 to win $110 total)
Fernando Tatis Jr.: +1800 (bet $10 to win $190 total)
Pete Alonso: +1900 (bet $10 to win $200 total)
Yordan Alvarez: +2200 (bet $10 to win $230 total)
Juan Soto: +2800 (bet $10 to win $290 total)

Last season, Judge and Ohtani were locked in a thrilling competition, with Judge hitting 58 home runs while Ohtani followed closely with 54. Notably, Ohtani made history as the first player to hit over 50 home runs and steal more than 50 bases in a single season.

In 2022, Judge set a new benchmark with 62 home runs, marking a career high and an American League record. This achievement adds to his impressive record of three seasons with over 50 home runs (2017, 2022, 2024).

Ohtani, on the other hand, led the American League in home runs with 44 in 2023 while Judge was dealing with injuries. He then switched leagues and topped the National League charts last season.

Ohtani’s previous best was 46 home runs in 2021, which adds context to his recent performance surge.

Kyle Schwarber, who ranks third on the odds list, has been a consistent power hitter for Philadelphia, amassing 131 home runs over the past three seasons.

DraftKings has also released odds for players projected to hit 60-plus, 55-plus, and 50-plus home runs, offering fans a chance to engage with the upcoming season’s power-hitting prospects.
