NFL Super Bowl LIX big bets report highlights significant wagers made by bettors on both the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. As the championship game approaches, fans and gamblers alike are eager to see how these high-stakes bets will unfold.
Currently, several noteworthy bets are making headlines.
Among these is a remarkable six-figure wager.
Fly Eagles Fly
On January 19, just prior to the Eagles’ thrilling 28-22 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round, a customer at Caesars Sports placed an early bet on the Super Bowl.
This bettor staked $200,000 on the Eagles at +275 odds to clinch victory on February 9 in New Orleans. If Jalen Hurts and his team can outmaneuver Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, this bettor stands to gain $550,000, resulting in a total payout of $750,000.
At Borgata Sportsbook, a BetMGM location in Atlantic City, another customer placed a $50,000 wager on the Eagles at +700 odds to secure the Super Bowl title. This bet was made on January 12, just hours before Philadelphia’s 22-10 triumph against Green Bay during Wild Card Weekend.
A championship win for the Eagles would yield a $350,000 profit for that bettor, bringing the total payout to $400,000. Additionally, this same bettor placed another $50,000 bet on the Eagles at +325 odds to win the NFC on the same day, already netting $162,500 from that wager ($212,500 total payout).
Before Week 18 games, a different Caesars customer also placed a $20,000 bet on Philadelphia at +650 odds for the Super Bowl. Should the Eagles take home the championship, this bettor would earn $130,000, resulting in a total payout of $150,000.
Furthermore, another Caesars customer wagered $25,000 on the Eagles at +700 odds in early January, which would yield a $175,000 profit (total payout $200,000) if Philadelphia emerges victorious.
Hail To The Chiefs
Kansas City has also attracted attention with several significant championship futures bets. On February 14, 2024, shortly after the Chiefs’ 25-22 victory over San Francisco in Super Bowl LVIII, a DraftKings Sportsbook customer placed a $22,000 bet on the Chiefs at +650 odds to win Super Bowl LIX.
Although it has been a long wait, if Kansas City manages to secure a three-peat, this bettor will profit $143,000, resulting in a total payout of $165,000.
More recently, on January 26, another bettor at Caesars placed a $50,000 wager on the Chiefs at +210 odds to win the Super Bowl. A victory for Kansas City would net them $105,000, bringing the total payout to $155,000.
Point Spread, Moneyline and Total
As the big game approaches, sizable bets are beginning to surface. BetRivers recorded two significant moneyline wagers:
- $63,370 on Chiefs -135, to win $46,940.74 (total payout $110,310.74)
- $55,000 on Chiefs -132, to win $41,666.67 (total payout $96,666.67)
There are also notable moneyline bets on the Eagles: Rampart Casino in Las Vegas accepted a $50,000 wager on Philadelphia at +115, which would yield $57,500 (total payout $107,500); and Caesars took a $50,000 bet on Philly at +110, to win $55,000 (total payout $105,000).
Additionally, a couple of significant bets have been placed on the total score: $110,000 on the Under 49.5 at Caesars, which would win $100,000 (total payout $210,000); and $55,000 on the Under 50 at Station Sports in Las Vegas, to win $50,000 (total payout $105,000).
Parlay Partay
Countless futures parlays culminate with a bet on the Super Bowl winner. The allure of these bets lies in the potential for a small investment to yield significant returns, often developed over several months.
For example, even before last season’s March Madness, a DraftKings Sportsbook customer crafted a $100 four-leg parlay:
- UConn to win the NCAA men’s basketball tournament
- Boston Celtics to win the NBA Finals
- Ohio State to win the College Football Playoff
- Chiefs to win the Super Bowl
This wager carried odds of +76130, equating to over 761/1. Consequently, this bettor is on the verge of winning an impressive $76,130 from a mere $100 investment.
A FanDuel Sportsbook customer also placed a $25 bet on a four-leg parlay:
- Spain +440 to win the European Championship soccer tournament
- Argentina +175 to win the Copa América soccer tournament
- Ohio State +420 to win the College Football Playoff
- Chiefs +600 to win the Super Bowl
When combined, these odds stand at +53954, approximately 540/1.
Should Kansas City secure its third consecutive Super Bowl victory, this bettor would turn a modest $25 into $13,513.
MVP Money
Various sportsbooks have offered Super Bowl MVP odds since the postseason began. The largest reported wager thus far came at BetMGM: a $25,000 bet on Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce at +1500 odds.
If Kelce secures the MVP title, the bettor stands to gain a substantial $375,000.
Intriguingly, some long-shot MVP bets have been placed on the two place-kickers. Caesars Sports took a $550 wager on Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker at +100000 (1000/1), along with a $550 bet on Eagles kicker Jake Elliott at the same odds.
If either of these bets wins, the profit would be a staggering $550,000. Caesars also recorded a $100 wager on Butker at +100000, with a potential win of $100,000.
At Hard Rock Bet in Florida, one customer also placed bets on both kickers:
- $50 on Elliott at +50000 (500/1), to win $25,000
- $50 on Butker at +25000 (250/1), to win $12,550.
These bets certainly have the potential to significantly impact the financial futures of those bettors.
