Mel Renfro was among the first stars to shine for the Cowboys, joining the team in 1964. His immediate impact was evident as he earned a Pro Bowl nod in his rookie season, marking the beginning of a remarkable 10-year streak. Renfro played a pivotal role in two Super Bowl victories and made a crucial interception in the 1970 NFC Championship Game, leading to a game-winning touchdown against the 49ers.
