Tom Brady Reveals His Super Bowl Contender Just Weeks Before the NFL Playoffs!

Tom Brady picks his Super Bowl favorite a few weeks before NFL playoffs start

Tom Brady picks the Kansas City Chiefs as his Super Bowl favorite just weeks before the NFL playoffs begin. The legendary quarterback believes that Patrick Mahomes possesses the unique qualities needed to thrive in high-pressure situations. With the Bills, who hold +425 odds, emerging as favorites to win Super Bowl LIX, Brady’s endorsement of the Chiefs adds another layer of intrigue to the postseason narrative.

As the playoffs approach, the Chiefs (+600) and Ravens (+800) are also in the conversation, following the Bills, Philadelphia Eagles (+475), and Detroit Lions (+475), all boasting top-five Super Bowl odds. This competitive landscape sets the stage for an exciting postseason.

Brady, who has seen his fair share of clutch moments, shared his insights while commentating on the Ravens’ impressive 34-17 victory over the Steelers. His experience and perspective lend weight to his predictions about which teams are poised for success.

Brady’s confidence in Mahomes is clear. “If it’s a one-score game, I’m taking Patrick Mahomes anytime because he’s got that championship DNA,” he remarked. He acknowledged the strong performances of Josh Allen, Saquon Barkley, and Lamar Jackson, all of whom are contenders for the MVP title this season.

The Bills, currently standing at 11-3, previously handed the Chiefs (14-1) their sole loss this season in Week 11, where Allen showcased his skills with 262 passing yards and 55 rushing yards in a 30-21 victory. Despite this success, Allen’s postseason record against Mahomes and the Chiefs remains a concerning 0-3.

Emphasizing the distinct nature of playoff football, Brady noted, “These games, in the end, come down to turnovers. Who converts a third down? Whether it’s a missed kick or not.” His insights highlight the significance of every play in the single-elimination format of the playoffs, where teams must bring their best to advance.

With a record of 35-13 in NFL playoff games, Brady’s experience is unmatched, while Mahomes boasts a solid 15-3 postseason record, with two losses to Brady himself. This history adds a layer of anticipation for fans as they await the upcoming playoff matchups.

Regardless of whether Mahomes and the Chiefs reach Super Bowl LIX, Brady will be present in the broadcast booth, providing commentary for the game set to air on FOX from the Superdome in New Orleans on February 9, 2025.
