USMNT to play friendly vs. Costa Rica in January international window

The U.S. men’s national team is set to face Costa Rica in a friendly match on January 22 at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando, Florida. This matchup is part of a doubleheader featuring games without players from European clubs, following a training camp led by new head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

This exciting game was announced on Tuesday and will come just days after the team competes against Venezuela on January 18 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

These matches fall outside FIFA’s international fixture dates, which means the squad will primarily feature talent from Major League Soccer, showcasing homegrown players eager to shine on the national stage.
