Here are his top wagers for Week 13.

Record:
Last Week: 4-2
Season: 39-32-2

Iowa @ Maryland (noon, BTN)

Maryland has struggled since their upset of USC, but Chris believes Iowa should not be such a large road favorite against any Big Ten opponent. The uncertainty surrounding the Hawkeyes’ quarterback situation, especially after their performance against UCLA, raises concerns. Expect Maryland to show resilience in their final home game.

Stanford @ Cal (3:30 p.m., ACCN)

Reflecting on last week’s outcomes, Cal fell short at home against Syracuse, while Stanford pulled off a surprising comeback against Louisville. Chris anticipates that these results were anomalies, and he expects Cal to reclaim dominance in this rivalry and retain the Axe in Berkeley.

Arizona @ TCU (3 p.m., ESPN+)

Arizona finally executed a solid game last week against Houston. TCU, however, has been quietly effective this season, bouncing back from a turnover-laden loss to the Cougars. Chris believes that the Horned Frogs’ offense, led by Josh Hoover, will find success against a struggling Arizona defense that has allowed hefty scores in recent road games.

Pittsburgh @ Louisville (4 p.m., ESPN2)

Pitt’s quarterback situation remains unclear, and Chris questions the team’s morale after their narrow loss to Clemson. Conversely, Louisville, under Jeff Brohm, is expected to bounce back strongly after a disappointing defeat at Stanford. This matchup could turn in favor of the Cardinals.

No. 7 Alabama @ Oklahoma (7:30 p.m., ABC)

Oklahoma has faced challenges this season, yet it remains a storied program with a defensive-minded coach. Chris believes Brent Venables will find ways to slow down Alabama’s offense. Given Alabama’s past struggles against strong defenses on the road, this game could be more competitive than anticipated. Expect Oklahoma to deliver its best performance of the season and potentially challenge the Tide.

No. 15 Texas A&M @ Auburn (7:30 p.m., ESPN)

Auburn presents a puzzling case where power ratings do not align with performance. Despite only securing one SEC victory against Kentucky, their defense remains consistent. With Texas A&M missing key players like Le’Veon Moss, Chris anticipates that Marcel Reed may need to carry the load. The Aggies could find themselves distracted as they look ahead to their matchup against Texas.
