Kevin Durant out at least 2 weeks for Suns with left calf strain

Kevin Durant is sidelined for at least two weeks due to a left calf strain, a setback that interrupts a promising season for the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns announced this news on Saturday, following their thrilling 114-113 victory over the Dallas Mavericks, which marked their seventh consecutive win and eighth out of nine games this season. Durant played a crucial role in that game, contributing 26 points. He is scheduled for a re-evaluation in two weeks.

At 36 years old, Durant had been showcasing an MVP-level performance, averaging 27.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game across nine matches. This 14-time All-Star had previously dealt with a similar calf issue during the Paris Olympics this summer, where he helped secure a gold medal for Team USA.
