2025 MLB Cy Young Contender: Who Among the Dodgers’ Starters is Poised for Glory?

2025 MLB odds: Which Dodgers starter has best chance to win Cy Young?

2025 MLB odds indicate that the Los Angeles Dodgers have an impressive chance of securing the National League Cy Young Award.

With a roster featuring second-year sensation Yoshinobu Yamamoto, the return of Tyler Glasnow from injury, and the anticipated comeback of Shohei Ohtani to the mound, L.A. is poised to showcase one of the most formidable starting rotations in Major League Baseball history.

Among these talented pitchers, which one stands out as the frontrunner for the NL Cy Young Award? DraftKings Sportsbook provided insights into the odds as of January 21.

National League Cy Young Award 2025 (Dodgers)

Blake Snell: +1000 (bet $10 to win $110 total)
Tyler Glasnow: +1700 (bet $10 to win $180 total)
Yoshinobu Yamamoto: +2500 (bet $10 to win $260 total)
Shohei Ohtani: +3000 (bet $10 to win $310 total)
Roki Sasaki: +7500 (bet $10 to win $760 total)

On the broader oddsboard, Snell ranks fifth, Glasnow seventh, Yamamoto 11th, Ohtani 19th, and Sasaki 28th.

Snell, a two-time Cy Young winner, is part of an elite group of only eight pitchers in MLB history to claim the award in both leagues. He secured the AL title in 2018 with the Tampa Bay Rays and the NL title in 2023 with the San Diego Padres.

Glasnow earned an All-Star nod in 2024 while playing for the Dodgers, while Ohtani was named the All-Star starting pitcher in 2021 with the Angels.

Additionally, Ohtani was selected as an All-Star reserve pitcher in both 2022 and 2023.

Interestingly, despite having the longest odds among the Dodgers’ rotation, Roki Sasaki remains a focal point of attention. His potential could surprise many as the season unfolds.
