2022-23 NFL Power Rankings
1.Los Angeles Rams
The NFC West isn’t as intimidating as it was in previous years, and head coach Sean McVay has all of his stars back in Hollywood for the 2022 season.
Over 10.5 wins – 85% of the bet is over
2. Buffalo Bills (Previous Placement: 3)
Anything less than winning the Super Bowl will be a disappointment to the Bills. Now it’s just up to superstar quarterback Josh Allen and the well-rounded roster to pull off the feat.
Over 11.5 wins – 88% of the bet is over
3. Kansas City Chiefs (Previous Ranking: 2)
While Kansas City has seen significant off-season turnover, QB Patrick Mahomes boasts a 50-13 regular-season record, so a run at another Super Bowl is definitely on the cards.
Over 10.5 wins – 53% of bets are on the under

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Unless Father Time catches Tom Brady at the age of 45, the Bucs will be the team to beat in the NFC. The roster is finally loaded.
Over 11.5 wins – 58% of bets are on the under
5. Los Angeles Chargers (Previous Ranking: 7)
The Chargers are as talented as any team in the NFL. All that’s left is to make noise in the playoffs, and third-year quarterback Justin Herbert is ripe to lead.
Over 10.5 wins – 54% of the bet is over
6. Green Bay Packers (Previous Ranking: 5)
Green Bay has back-to-back MVP QB Aaron Rodgers to throw attacks at opposing defenses, and their own defense will thwart opposing attacks.
Over 10.5 wins – 65% of the bet is over
7. Baltimore Ravens
After suffering the second most man-game losses last season, the Ravens are positioned for a rebound in 2022. How dramatically Baltimore recovers is in the hands of quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Over 9.5 wins – 95% of betting handle is in the over
8. Cincinnati-Bengal
While almost everything went in Cincinnati’s favor last year, grappling with the offensive line during the offseason was a good first step toward seeing the Bengals as contenders again in 2022.
Over 9.5 wins – 70% of the bet is in the over
9. Denver Broncos
Expectations skyrocketed with the offseason acquisition of QB Russell Wilson, but can the Broncos pull off a championship run outside of the intimidating AFC West?
Over 10.5 wins – 56% of bets are on the under
10. Indianapolis Colts (Previous Ranking: 14)
How much 14-year-old veteran quarterback Matt Ryan is helping the Colts won’t be immediately known, but Indianapolis is the consensus favorite to win the AFC South, and with good reason.
Over 9.5 wins – 98% of the bet is over
11. Dallas Cowboys (Previous Ranking: 10)
Dallas has tons of talent across the roster. The problem has been winning big games, and the NFC East isn’t the playground it was a season ago.
Over 10.5 wins – 91% of bets are on the under

12. Philadelphia Eagles (Previous Ranking: 15)
Speaking of improved NFC East, Philadelphia has what it takes to keep moving up that ranking, especially with a soft opening plan.
Over 9.5 wins – 96% of the bet is over
13.San Francisco 49ers
Until sophomore quarterback Trey Lance proves he’s capable of commanding offense, the 49ers are a difficult team to judge. However, the potential is clearly there after reaching the NFC Championship Game last year.
Over 9.5 wins – 50% of the bet is on the over
14. Arizona Cardinals (Previous Ranking: 20)
Arizona opens with a tough three-game start. On a positive note, franchise quarterback Kyler Murray is closing out the potentially messy situation on a five-year contract extension.
Over 8.5 wins – 94% of bets are on the under
15. Tennessee Titans (Previous Ranking: 11)
Sure, the Titans earned the No. 1 spot in the AFC last season, and head coach Mike Vrabel is probably an underrated head coach. But the Titans are also one of the baldest teams to go below their winning total.
Over 9.5 wins – 79% of the bets are on the Under
16. Cleveland Browns (Previous Ranking: 14)
Until quarterback Deshaun Watson’s status is known, it’s difficult to really gauge the Brownies. Still, they have a soft opening plan, and the defense and running game will shine.
The Cleveland win total is off the board at BetMGM
17. Miami Dolphins (Previous Ranking: 16)
Despite the additions of head coach Mike McDaniel, wide receiver Tyreek Hill and offense lineman Terron Armstead, is Miami a legitimate playoff contender?
Over 8.5 wins – 91% of bets are over
18. New Orleans Saints (Previous Ranking: 17)
The NFC South likely got tougher when the Carolina Panthers traded for quarterback Baker Mayfield, but the Saints remain the second-best team. However, New Orleans is unlikely to be in danger of winning a playoff game.
Over 8.5 wins – 89% of bets are over
19. New England Patriots (Previous ranking: 18)
With a collection of mediocre talent, how long can head coach Bill Belichick surpass him in the win column?
Over 8.5 wins – 50% of the bet is in the over
20. Las Vegas Raiders (Previous Ranking: 19)
While it will be an uphill battle to secure a postseason spot with the AFC West — and the AFC as a whole — the Raiders should be in the conversation all season long.
Over 8.5 wins – 75% of the bet is over

21. Minnesota Vikings
Is bringing in first-year head coach Kevin O’Connell enough to lift the Vikings above a midfield in the NFC for the third straight season?
Over 8.5 wins – 95% of the bet is over
22nd Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh supporters might not realize it just yet, but the team is likely better off with QBs Mitch Turbisky and Kenny Pickett than retired signal caller Ben Roethlisberger. The rest of the parts are there.
Over 7.5 wins – 54% of bets are on the under
23. Detroit Lions
For all his weaknesses, Jared Goff has found success in the game master role in the past. So, with Detroit’s rebuilding looking to be going in the right direction, it’s not shocking to see bettors drawn to the Lions exceeding their declared winnings.
Over 6.5 wins – 95% of the bet is over
24. New York Giants (Previous ranking: 27)
If first-year head coach Brian Daboll can revive QB Daniel Jones’ career and help him capitalize on his plus athletics, the Giants could be back on track.
Over 7.5 wins – 55% of the bet is over
25. New York Jets
With just six wins over the past two seasons, it will be difficult for the Jets to be worse in 2022 – but how much improvement do you expect in the win column?
Over 5.5 wins – 86% of the bet is over
26. Jacksonville Jaguars
With an improved roster around him and head coach Doug Pederson replacing Urban Meyer, franchise QB Trevor Lawrence certainly needs to step up and win more games this year.
Over 6.5 wins – 84% of bets are on the under
27th Washington Commanders (Previous ranking: 24)
Defensive end Chase Young is expected to start the season on the PUP roster after tearing the MCL and ACL in his right knee in Week 10 of last season. It’s a heavy blow for a team that can’t afford many hits for the roster.
Over 8.5 wins – 64% of the bets are on the Under
28. Carolina Panthers (Previous Ranking: 30)
The trade in quarterback Baker Mayfield should prove an overall positive for Carolina. But will the Panthers actually have a successful season? Her last was in 2017.
Over 6.5 wins – 86% of the bet is over
29. Seattle Seahawks (Previous Ranking: 28)
How long will it take for the Seahawks to complete a full roster overhaul and rebuild?
Over 5.5 wins – 60% of the bet is over
30. Houston Texans (Previous ranking: 29)
The addition of a number of draft picks from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for QB Deshaun Watson is looking better and better by the day. Now the team just needs to find a new arm to build the franchise.
Over 4.5 wins – 62% of the bet is on the under
31.Atlanta Falcons
At the very least, tight end Kyle Pitts and WR Drake London should deliver weekly highlight reel games because there won’t be much else to look forward to on Sundays in Atlanta.
Over 4.5 wins – 63% of the bet is over
32. Chicago Bears
The real question ahead of the 2022 season for the Bears is will they be ready to target a franchise quarterback in the 2023 NFL Draft?
Over 6.5 wins – 90% of the bet is on the under
