ATLANTA @ SACRAMENTO | 1/30 | 10:00 PM EST
The Hawks got vengeance on the Clippers in an impressive road win on Monday night. It marked the first time they had beaten the Clippers in nearly three years. The two teams last played back in November, when the Clippers defeated the Hawks in their home building. However, that was a much more loaded team than the one the Hawks faced on Monday.
There’s no place like home. That’s the feeling the Kings likely have heading into Wednesday’s home game against the Hawks after a six-game road trip. Not only did the Kings have their three-game win streak snapped on the road, but they also lost four games, including Sunday’s run-in with a depleted Clippers team.
The Kings have had two days rest at home after completing a six-game road trip and they’ll be facing a Hawks squad that is the middle of a seven-game trip, their longest of the season. The Hawks have already won two of the first three as underdogs on this trip. Now they’re 8-20 on the road this season. The Kings won 146-115 in November at Atlanta and I like them to win and cover here at home where they’re 16-8 ATS. The Kings have also stayed Under the total in their last 11 games.
